Last few weeks, a day before hari raya, I went to Malacca to fetch my GF. She bring me to a few place and 1 of it is Eyes on Malaysia. For those who never went to Eyes on Malacca, actually it is not really special lor...just so so only...When we went that time, It's rain leh...haiz...sienz...

Eye on Malaysia Sdn Bhd is the venture between homegrown world-class events specialists MST AD SURIA and the investment arm of the Melaka State government, Kumpulan Melaka Berhad.

Since its inception in May 2008, Eye on Malysia Sdn Bhd has been regularly directing multidisciplinary teams of up to 1000 personnel. Its portfolio spans a broad spectrum of concept creation, master planning and implementation to operational management.

Helmed by Mr Adam Yong Abdullah, CEO and Pn Widyanty Yusope, Director, Eye on Malaysia Sdn Bhd’s first and main large-scale project is to bring the world-renowned tourism icon, the Eye on Malaysia, to its permanent home on 4 acres of prime reclaimed land at the scenic mouth of the Melaka River in October 2008.

Plans are afoot to bring in a whole host of world-class attractions in stages to complement the Eye on Malaysia’s move to Melaka.These attractions include a permanent Malaysia International Space Adventure (MISA) exhibit andthe Light and Sound Giant Waterscreen Showcase, scheduled to open in December 2008 and February 2009 respectively.

During its run at Lake Titiwangsa, the Eye on Malaysia achieved its millionth rider in November 2007, surpassing the initial projection of 300,000 riders for the year of 2007. The Eye has also rejuvenated the Lake Titiwangsa area by attracting more than 8 million visitors and tourists to the park.

Under the world-class events expertise of Eye on Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the Eye on Malaysia is expected to build on its phenomenal success at Lake Titiwangsa. Approximately 700,000 visitors are projected to visit the Eye leisure park during the Eye’s first year in Melaka.

Soaring to giddy heights 60 metres above the tropical waters of Lake Titiwangsa, “Eye on Malaysia” is the largest portable wheel in the world, and the first overhanging a lake.

The “Eye on Malaysia” provides stunning views across Lake Titiwangsa, all the way to the world renowned Petronas Towers and KL Tower.This astounding viewing wheel consists of 42 fully air-conditioned gondolas, 39 of which have the capacity to carry a cosy eight passengers per 12-minute ride.

An exclusive VIP gondola has also been outfitted to include plush leather seats fit for a king, a mini fridge, a DVD player, a plasma TV and a mobile telephone. There are also two specially designed gondolas, fitted with unique features making it friendly to the wheelchair-bound and handicapped visitors.
