Launch of Grassroots Youth Tour 2010

Last monday, I went all the way from Sunway to Bangsar for the breakfast with Power of 7. 7 Young Malaysians & 7 Eccentric Personality. Actually I was invited to the Launch of Grassroots Youth Tour 2010 Mara “Got Ideas” at Chawan Bangsar.

GrassRoots Youth Tour is a combination of youth development & capacity enhancement programs and “on-the-streets” youth insights initiative.


The Grassroots Youth Team, comprises of Bernard Hor (CEO of Youth Works Asia), Abang Zam (master trainer of YWA), Zen Chui, Leonard Chua, Mervynn, Kent Ng and Han Pin will get upclose & personal with the student with 1 purpose, that is to co-create some of the best social innovation ideas.


Grassroots Youth Tour Mara Got Ideas Nationwide Tout project is proudly presented by Grassroots Youth, Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia and Majlis Amanah Rakyat MARA. Not forgetting the supporting team MDEC, MSC Malaysia and Maxis.

Grassroots Youth Tour was held in conjunction with the first ever MARA "Got Ideas" Social Innovation Workshop. Its a 2 days workshop which is gonna be held at 10 different MARA Campuses (Kolej & Kolej Profesional) throughout the country.

The Tour’s first destination will be traveling right up north to Kuala Nerang, Kedah.

Salam and Hye all. Saya Rina. Mesti odd je rasa tiba tiba ada entry Feeq in Malay kan? :p since my blog ditulis dalam Malay *kadang-kadang in English, kadang-kadang rojak campur* plus Feeq nak tarik Malay readers, Rina pun tulis lah in Malay *alasan*


Sebenarnya, Rina dah lama tulis blog, dari zaman Friendster lagi. Asyik bertuka-rtukar URL. Before ni, URL Rina, http://chokichokiyangsedap.blogspot.com hehe. Bajet taknak orang kenal so I used Chokichoki as my nickname. Tapi, major readers time tu were all my friends, orang yang kenal Rina. So diorang keep calling my name, Rina. Link Rina di blog diorang pun, diorang letak nama Rina. Lama-lama, semua orang tahula, Chokichoki tu Rina. Jadi, Rina pun malaslah nak poyo-poyo letak nickname tu padahal semua tahu tu Rina, plus macam tak matang sangat je plus macam tak ori pulak, Rina pun tukar jadi http://rinastories.blogspot.com. Since then, Rina just bahasakan diri Rina ^_^


Baru je habis study

Blog Rina ni biasa je. Rina tulis hanya suka-suka pada mulanya. Hanya untuk mengisi masa yang terluang, share stories, meluahkan perasaan dan pendapat. Tapi lama-lama Rina found out that, instead of just for fun, blogging pun boleh dapat lebih ramai kawan dan juga menjana pendapatan. Dunia blog ni macam satu dunia maya yang semua orang jadi peramah dan murah hati nak share ilmu. Kan?? Hehehe

Free Concert Passes For The Nike Cup Kuala Lumpur Grand Finals To Give Away!

I believe that you guys know about the sad story German (4) VS England (1) right? Some people might like it but some are not. For those who do not know, I really outdated about the football. When talk about the FIFA, I only think about lepak time with bunch of friend at mamak stall and while all my friend busy watch the football, I “help” them to finish their food haha.

Other bands such as Azlan and The Typewriter, Pesawat, Pure Vibracion, Bunkface, Awan Band and Forty Winks will also feature on the line-up.

Biotherm Launch @ Chill Out Bar

Last Saturday, after my Dance Workshop with Urban groove in the morning, I went to Urbanscape in afternoon and photoshoot on evening. At night? exhausted party at Biotherm ^^"

BiothermHomme organizing World Cup Fever Party at Chill Out bar which is the main objective i to create brand awareness in target market.


So far I use Clinique and I still satisfied with it, so unless Biotherm can give me a good reason for me to change, I will. Catch up the Clinique Star Tour soon.


Just like any other party, Biotherm provide quite good drinks but not food. With the crowd, music, girls, and football make the bar damn pack. Not only that, there have a free goodies bag for the guests, free 2 bottle of Heineken and of course complimentary finger foods.


So, if you guys have tried Biotherm, let me know how good it is ya.


On that night, the girls dressed in referee/football jerseys aka Referee Chicks walking around mingling with the crowd. They promoting BiothermHommeand Sponsors, and also providing guests with Eye Massages and Free Skin Check

Urbanscape 2010 @ KLPAC

This time is about urbanscape yo! This is my 2nd time went there where for those who do not know, Urbanscapes is an annual all-day creative arts festival, which celebrates all things artsy-fartsy! Cool huh? Definitely! It's not only a blogshop bazaar and performing arts but it's more about ARTS!


365.com I not really sure the website about what, since it;s in madarin but you can see the rat + wings logo everywhere.


I was looking for the big URBANSCAPES wording with balloons behind but it's was not there like last year. Ok, it's arts. Maybe I don't know anything about arts.

Makan place!


This is project known as Project Angkat Rumah and it was literally moving a house. Since I came late, a specially designed wooden house with zinc roof and yellow colours was there! This novelty concept is initiated by our very local filmmaker, Liew Siew Tat from DaHuangPictures who wants to revive the local village spirit of gotong royong in us the urbanites. Not only that, the distance is only about 1.3km, from Jalan Ipoh to KLpac. Marching bands and kompang troupe are marking their way there too.


It's awesome! What is this about? Actually when you place one of your hand on the half sphere thingy and it will produce awesome sounds when you touch the another water inside the cups. So, our body will transfer the electric from one to another. Cool huh?


Even the famous Tongue In Chic's and cute cupcake also there!

Featured Blogger Of The Week (Guy) - Dylan

Good day blog readers. I’m Dylan and I blog at www.dylan-zd.blogspot.com. First of all, thanks to Feeq for giving me the opportunity to be featured in his blog. Well, some of you might have already know who I am while others might be wondering who the heck is this guy. I don’t blame you guys for not knowing who I am, ‘cuz all these while I’ve kinda been hiding in the shadows during events. Oh well, you know, ‘cuz I’m a shy person. Haha!

Let me tell you a little history about myself first. I can say that I’ve been blogging for a very long time now every since 2004 /2005 maybe? But during that time I wasn’t blogging very consistently and the only record of me blogging is from the year 2008 onwards. Haha! No proof of me blogging way before that. Nevermind. It’s not the years that count but the enjoyment your get from blogging.


So anyway, I came from Ipoh, which is famous for a lot of things, especially Ipoh girls. I received my education at St. Michael’s Institution (Form 1 – Form 6). Many people do not really like their schooling days. Some say too many rules, some don’t like wearing uniforms and some even hated the teachers. However, I truly believe that those years in school were some of my best years ever. That was the time where true friendships were made and where memories were embedded in me.


Gatherings with friends are always fun, fun, fun!


Did you know that I was a scout before? Once a scout, Always a scout.

Right now, I’m studying in Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Setapak. Why college and not university? That’s another story to be told, another time or you can dig up my archives and find out why. I’m currently pursuing Diploma in Multimedia Design and already in my second year now.

It’s not easy to choose something you like to do in life. It’s hard choosing a course where you have interest in or where you can see yourself in the future in that field. It took me quite some time to figure myself out but at last I have found what I wanted. So, next time you want to hire a designer, do look me up.


A night out having steamboat dinner.

Blogging has given me great experiences in life. Many fun things can happen if you blog. You get to attend events and parties and by attending these events I get to expose myself to new things, gaining experience for myself (something a designer truly needs). Haha! Gaining experience reminds me of the game Pokemon.


Busy doing my assignment for Photography

I have not yet gotten the most out of blogging yet. Not until I get to know more bloggers, not until I get to attend most of the events. Haha! So the next time you see me at an event, do say hi to me first yeah because I always have the feeling of ‘If I say hi first, what if the other person does not know who I am’ syndrome.
