Zumba Cafe in Shah Alam by Tanah Aina - Fitness Centre

by - Monday, February 16, 2015

The other day I was invited by Halim from Hai Blogger! to attend Tanah Aina Cafe by Farhana's Oven food review. At first I was confused since I saw there have gym and cafe. Located in Shah Alam, it's really a good place to workout and at the same time to enjoy their healthy menu. Tanah Aina Cafe food review will up next on my blog.

For Zumba lover, this is Zumba Cafe that you must pay a visit. A combination of Cafe and Zumba classes.

On that day I was slightly late because I do have a magazine shoot in Kepong. Somehow I feel to be in front of the magazine is much fun compare to being at the back of the camera. My friend, Jiun Wai does help me to take some photos of the Tanah Aina Cafe food review.

Zumba, the Latin-based dance class that has people shaking their booties into better shape around the world, has added a new level to the Zumba fitness program: Zumba Toning. The toning classes use Zumba Toning Sticks to combine the high-energy aerobic flair of regular Zumba with strength training and body sculpting, creating a whole-new kind of dance-fitness party.
Tanah Aina Fitness Centre is designed for FEMALES ONLY. More privacy isn't?

Cycling is low-impact exercise that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Regular cycling has many physical and mental health benefits. It is one of the best ways to reduce your risk of health problems such as stroke, heart attack, some cancers, depression, diabetes, obesity and arthritis.

To be fit and healthy you need to be physically active. Regular physical activity can help protect you from serious diseases such as obesity, heart disease, cancer, mental illness, diabetes and arthritis. Riding your bicycle regularly is one of the best ways to reduce your risk of health problems associated with a sedentary lifestyle.

The health benefits of regular cycling include:
- increased cardiovascular fitness.
- increased muscle strength and flexibility.
- improved joint mobility.
- decreased stress levels.
- improved posture and coordination.
- strengthened bones.
- decreased body fat levels.
- prevention or management of disease.
- reduced anxiety and depression.

Treadmill is one of the most popular types of cardio exercise equipment, which provides a straightforward, efficient aerobic workout. For many, treadmills are a good choice to begin a new exercise routine because walking is well tolerated by most individuals regardless of fitness level and for most back conditions. As strength and endurance are developed, the treadmill can be used for jogging and/or for interval training.

Advantages to Using a Treadmill
- The treadmill is a relatively easy piece of exercise equipment to use.
- The treadmill has a predictable surface that is much easier to negotiate than sidewalks, curbs or trails and the risk of tripping is reduced.
- All aspects of the workout can be controlled by the user: speed, incline, warm up period, cool down period, and energy spend.
- Generally, users can design custom programs to fit the time they have to exercise.
- Multiple users can use the same equipment without adjusting the structure.
- Some treadmills have special features such as step counters and heart rate monitors so fitness progress can be tracked.
- Running on a treadmill generally burns calories faster than most other forms of in-home exercise, such as biking.

Don’t underestimate the gym ball (AKA Swiss ball). You’ll often see them aimlessly rolling around the gym,  an underused tumbleweed used more as a giant football for kick up practice than for abs exercises. Next time you see one lying around the gym remember that gym balls can be a remarkably beneficial way of improving muscle tone and balance. They are durable, lightweight and able to support a lot of weight, 275kg in some cases. They’re a valuable tool for varying workouts and allowing you to hit different muscles in different ways. So pick up that gym ball, don’t kick it away, it could help you reach your goals quicker than you think.

They’re particularly good for stretching and aiding in the performance of dynamic moves. They can also be used for basic abdominal exercises, low-impact aerobic exercise and strength training workouts.

Zumba Toning Sticks are made in 1-pound or 2 1/2-pound varieties. Filled with sand, the sticks are more fluid in movement than regular hand weights due to centrifugal force, allowing you to shake and rattle them, adding a musical component to your workout.

Make sure to check with them first if the class is available.
